Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Apuri Studio Inc. ("we") and the restaurant business that creates an account ("you"). By creating an account, you agree to them. Our privacy policy is part of these terms.

The service

CostVault stores your supplier invoices, reads the prices on them, and shows price changes, spend and money found. During the pilot, the service is free and may change as we improve it.

Your account

The service is for businesses. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Only upload invoices you're allowed to share with us.

Your data is yours

You own your invoices and the data in them. You let us store and process them only to provide the service to you. We never share your prices with any supplier.

Check the numbers

Automatic reading can make mistakes. Check each invoice against the paper before you confirm it. The app is a tool to help you; it isn't accounting, tax or legal advice, and decisions you make with it are yours.

Fees and our guarantee

After the pilot, the service is a monthly subscription at the price shown when you sign up, plus applicable taxes. We'll tell you before you're ever charged. 60-day money-back guarantee: if you're not happy within 60 days of your first payment, email us and we'll refund everything you've paid.

Fair use

Don't misuse the service: no breaking in, overloading it, or using it to harm others.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be down or have errors. Keep your paper invoices as your official records.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop at any time; export your data first, then email us to close the account. We may close accounts that break these terms, and we'll give you a chance to export your data unless the law prevents it.

Changes and law

We'll tell you before changes to these terms apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Questions: info@costvault.ca.
